Although for many having a Blog is the norm these days, to me - this is quite a huge leap :-) I am almost 'phobic' with regards to technology that I’m not used to. Not that I’m expecting my computer to attack me (as a friend of mine jokingly told me) - but I do admit that simply ‘not knowing what to expect’ is a fear I totally get. So here I go, jumping off the cliff into the (for me) unknown world of blogging!
In spite of my 'technological challenges', my excitement by far outweighs my fears. I am happy to introduce my blog and this brand new website with you! My desire and aim is to reach out with the kind of help I am privileged to offer people through Counseling, Coaching, Speaking, and Writing. I will be sharing new Devotionals on a regular basis. I am happy to announce that I actually added yet another Devotional a few hours ago, entitled: "Have you sold your birthright?" -- I even have Guest Writers bringing you valuable insights that complement mine, both American and International :-) -- So, from now on, I finally will be able to fulfill my dream of sharing topics I hope will:
Strengthen your everyday walk,
Uplift your spirits, and Motivate you
to fulfill your God-given destiny!
I am also looking forward to the possibility of ‘synergistic interplay’! I refer to informal and enriching dialogue with you and other readers of my blog too! I believe that as members of Christ’s body each of us has something to contribute, and we can always learn from each other. I therefore hope you feel free to leave your own comments, questions or reflections in the Comment Section below.
In case you are wondering, the picture above is of my dog Trixie. Some of you have met her. She has been invited by you to share in our Sessions, and together we are amazed at her ‘life lessons’. I will share some of these in the weeks ahead.
Today, I am reminded of how she teaches us the Precious Gift of... CONNECTING! Her gaze has brought many of you to tears as you experience her liquid eyes of love. Sadly, along your life journey you have learned to expect criticism and disapproval when you look into another’s eyes. Your tears give away your sorrow…you have been kept waiting far too long to experience unconditional love. My prayer is that you courageously continue to risk connecting to safe people. God can then not only use Trixie, but many others to reveal His love to you!
I will share new Blog Posts once a week, and really look forward to building new relationships, friendships and a vibrant community of visitors like you. Best of all, in my world, is when you too feel free to inspire, share and care as a friend in this safe environment. Thank you in advance, and feel free to contact me, if you want to discuss special needs or desires! -- Take care & see you next week :-)
~ Blessings from, Deb
PS! ~ I want to thank you in advance for every kind of support you provide to me as well, by sharing with friends and family, and - when you feel like it - leaving your comments below too :-)
